Dr. Art's Planet Earth Show at The California Academy of Sciences
I have presented nationally and internationally to the general public, teachers, and students. Many of the presentations were at conferences and workshops for science and environmental educators. I also often presented at science or nature centers such as The Exploratorium and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
One presentation type was performing my Dr. Art’s Planet Earth Show which both playfully and seriously provides a framework for understanding how our planet works and how we are causing climate change. The other main format has been to elucidate and teach key science concepts, often related to systems thinking in the context of global environmental issues. Other presentations were designed to help educators and school systems implement the most effective research-based science education strategies.
